Funerals and Memorial Ceremonies
Lakewood offers a variety of spaces to hold celebration of life services and ceremonies, including our historic Memorial Chapel, our Garden Mausoleum chapel, and our Memorial Mausoleum chapel.
Each of these spaces has different amenities and attendance capacities. Contact us for the most current guidelines and policies.
Funeral Receptions and Gatherings
Lakewood offers space in our contemporary Garden Mausoleum for funeral receptions and gatherings at Lakewood. The brightly lit reception area features an open veranda with views of the garden area.

Weddings
Lakewood’s historic chapel has been a beautiful and popular space for weddings in Minneapolis. Many couples have had memorable ceremonies here.
The chapel is available for weddings on a limited number of Friday and Saturday evenings during the spring, summer and early fall. There is a fee and attendance capacity is limited (due to the size of the interior).
